Und die Kurzgeschichten, die fanden gro\u00dfen Anklang. Das ermutigte mich wiederum, die ganzen Geschichten, die in meinem Kopf so rumkreisen, einzufangen und zu einer Kurzgeschichte zusammenzufassen. Dass daraus ein ganzer Band wird und dass wir diesen auch noch ver\u00f6ffentlichen, damit habe ich nicht gerechnet. Das war kein St\u00fcck beabsichtigt. Und die Idee dazu, die kam eigentlich von Thomas Manegold, meinem Verleger, der einfach mal meinte, Timo, pack mal deine ganzen Geschichten zusammen und dann gucken wir, was passiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Welche der Geschichten in <em>Randsteinbei\u00dfen<\/em> liegt dir besonders am Herzen und warum?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Nat\u00fcrlich ist jede Kurzgeschichte f\u00fcr mich etwas ganz Besonderes und etwas ganz Pers\u00f6nliches. Aber wenn ich mich f\u00fcr eine entscheiden m\u00fcsste, dann w\u00e4re das definitiv <em>\u00dcber Schatten<\/em>. Warum? Ich mag die dichte Atmosph\u00e4re, wie alles so harmlos beginnt, aber man merkt, okay, da wird jetzt bald etwas ganz Grausames und alles Ver\u00e4nderndes passieren. Die Geschichte an sich ist bereits leseerprobt und f\u00fchrte auch zu sehr interessanten und auch inspirierenden Gespr\u00e4chen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Wie viel Wolfsburg steckt in deinen Texten?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Tats\u00e4chlich steckt noch eine ganze Menge Wolfsburg in meinen Texten, aber auch eine geh\u00f6rige Portion Braunschweig, Berlin, Hannover und Ruhrpott. Warum? Weil ich mich dort im letzten Jahr sehr viel rumgetrieben habe. Aber gelegentlich verirrt sich auch eine Handlung in ein nieders\u00e4chsisches kleines Dorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Welche Autoren oder andere Vorbilder (z.B. musikalisch) inspirieren dich zum Schreiben?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Bernemann, Bukowski und J\u00f6rg Fauser, ein bisschen Murakami, ganz viel Paul Auster und nat\u00fcrlich ganz viele unterschiedliche Autoren. Die Liste, die w\u00e4r wahrscheinlich unendlich lang. Musikalisch ganz viel Curse und Moses Pelham und besonders die Arbeitsmoral von einem Kool Savas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Wie viel Rap steckt noch in deinen Texten?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Rap hat immer den Anspruch, direkt auf die Fresse zu sein. Das haben meine Texte auch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Braucht f\u00fcr dich jede Geschichte eine Punchline?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Gute Frage. Der Anspruch meiner Texte ist es, den Leser zu wecken, gerne auch mit &#8217;ner Ohrfeige. Von daher sind Punchlines f\u00fcr mich elementar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Sowohl dein Deb\u00fctroman als auch deine neuen Geschichten haben einen Hang zum Absurden. Ist das Zynismus, um mit den Entt\u00e4uschungen des Lebens umzugehen oder eher Spa\u00df am Verst\u00f6renden?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Definitiv kein Zynismus! Das Leben ist zu kurz und zu kostbar f\u00fcr Zynismus. Meine Storys wollen nichts besch\u00f6nigen und keine heile Welt vorgaukeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Sind deine Texte f\u00fcr dich eine Provokation oder das Aufzeigen von realen Lebensverh\u00e4ltnissen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Erschreckenderweise provoziert das Aufzeigen von wirklichen Lebensverh\u00e4ltnissen viel mehr als alles Konstruierte. Von daher sind meine Texte beides, obwohl die Provokation nicht gewollt ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Wann und wo schreibst du deine Texte?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Immer fr\u00fchmorgens und immer an meinem Schreibtisch. Routine ist f\u00fcr mich kreativer Treibstoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Wie hat sich dein Leben seit der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung deines Deb\u00fcts letztes Jahr ver\u00e4ndert?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Ich bin sehr viel unterwegs, ich treffe sehr interessante Menschen, mein Blickwinkel hat sich immens erweitert. Mein Leben ist vielf\u00e4ltiger geworden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F: Wo siehst du dich und deine Karriere als Schriftsteller in f\u00fcnf Jahren?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Entweder man schreibt oder man schreibt nicht. Schriftsteller ist f\u00fcr mich keine Karriere, die sich planen l\u00e4sst &#8211; um mal so ein Klischee zu bedienen. Man kann nicht schreiben, man muss schreiben. Und wenn ich das irgendwann nicht mehr muss, dann brauch ich nicht mehr zu schreiben.
